A Message To Our Community...
Over the last 18 months, Tranquility of Dalton has transformed from being just an "idea" to officially opening as a state of the art 40 resident Senior Living Home located just off Cleveland Highway in Dalton, Georgia. During this time, we have made every effort to construct the facility in a manner that exceeds all regulatory requirements typical of commercial construction, while striving to make this home very warm and inviting. Most importantly is the degree to which we have diligently worked to attract and assemble the most qualified team of associates possible. Building a team of experienced and caring team members is by far more important than building a nice facility. Though I am very proud of our building, courtyard, and grounds, I am even more proud of the high skill level of our care providers who will move Tranquility of Dalton forward to become the first choice for seniors in this area looking for a new home filled with new friends.
Unlike many assisted living communities or personal care homes, Tranquility of Dalton has on staff a full time Registered Nurse with many years of senior care experience. Additionally, our facility operates under the guidance of Teresa Carter, a very accomplished executive director with many years of management experience who is very connected with senior service providers in the Northwest Georgia area. Our team also includes a full time activities director, who on a daily basis keeps our senior residents engaged in various activities such as movie night, bingo, board games, puzzles, exercise programs, outside trips, and much more. Joe Ann Ellis operates a hair salon in our facility and brings many years of experience working with seniors in the area. We are very fortunate to have her here at Tranquility of Dalton.
Our kitchen employs two fulltime cooks who strive to make dining at Tranquility of Dalton a highlight for our residents. Meals are offered in our beautiful dining room complete with a view of our outdoor courtyard, aquarium, and double-sided rock fireplace. Healthy and tasteful meals, served three times daily, can be altered to accommodate residents with dietary restrictions. Remember, we live in the South...so eating is not just something a person does to survive... it is an event all unto itself and mealtime at Tranquility of Dalton is an event looked forward to daily by our residents.
The early response received from the community has been overwhelmingly positive and our rooms are gradually filling up. We look forward to welcoming these new residents into our family here at Tranquility of Dalton, and invite anyone interested in finding the "right place" for their loved one to stop by and visit. We welcome visitors, volunteers,
and family members to see our facility and the respect and care we have for
each of our senior residents. We look forward to seeing you soon.
